As part of the Tamaki Implementation Plan, the Fenchurch neighbourhood was the first large scale area-based development to be rolled out. Completed over 12 stages, across 10 hectares, the project saw the demolition of 100 old states houses to make way for 400 new homes. Nigel McKenna and DASL were called upon to lead the complex project. McKenna undertaking the master-planning including roading, linkage, parks and retail. DASL were tasked with every aspect of consent, consultation, process and management, both resulting in resounding success.
